·         Learn other skills necessary to deal with breakdowns.

·         Keep an up to date tool kit comprising of spanners, cable splicers, screw driver set, chain tool, puncture repair set, Allen keys and any other specialized tools depending upon the type of bike, the type of ride and terrain.
